The Bench / The Shop

A Shop Built
On Tickets.

MDW runs its repair business the way a bench runs a fault — every unit ticketed, every diagnosis logged, every bench matched to its book.

Who We Are

The Youngstown Floor.

MDW APPLIANCE GROUP LLC is an Ohio limited liability company headquartered at 401 Mathews Road, Youngstown — the Mahoning Valley where technical repair, calibration, and instrument service meet.

The shop runs five benches on one floor: consumer electronics — devices, boards, and screens; office and communication — machines and comms gear; medical and laboratory — clinical and lab instruments; precision and measurement — measuring, optical, and calibration; and broadcast and imaging — cameras, radar, and navigational.

Repair is a trace trade. A unit has a ticket. A fault has a path. A bench has a book. The benches stay distinct because the instruments demand it — but every unit answers to the same bench rules: ticketed before teardown, diagnosed before estimate, tested before return.

Bench Rules

The Four Rules We Fix By.

Five different benches, one operating standard — the rules written at the head of every service ticket.

BR-01

Ticketed Before Teardown

Every unit carries a ticket — model, serial, and reported fault written before the case opens. A unit without a ticket is a unit that can't be traced.

BR-02

Diagnosed Before Estimate

Fault traced before the price is quoted — no part replaced on a guess, and no fix quoted on a symptom.

BR-03

Bench-Matched Repair

Units run the bench they fit — medical on medical, precision on precision, electronics on electronics. A mismatched bench is a misdiagnosed fault.

BR-04

Tested Before Return

Every fix verified on the bench — a unit that isn't tested isn't returned as fixed, and a calibration that isn't logged isn't certified.

Who We Fix For

Three Kinds Of Customers.

Customer A

The Device Owner

The customer needing the daily gear back — computers, phones, and screens diagnosed and repaired without retail pressure.

Device · Board · Back
Customer B

The Office

The business needing machines running — fax, copiers, comms, and office equipment maintained on the bench.

Office · Machine · Comm
Customer C

The Facility

The clinic or lab needing precision — medical, laboratory, and measuring instruments repaired and calibrated to reference.

Clinical · Lab · Calibrate

"Five benches, one ticket. The unit shouldn't have to ask where the fault is — the diagnosis should already say it."
